How This Works

The Casting Process

Step One

Submit Your Application

Fill out the full screening below. We use a structured psychological assessment framework — the same approach used by federal investigators — to evaluate composure, credibility, and team fit. Not everyone passes. That's the point.

Step Two

Internal Review

The Dare to Go Paranormal team reviews every application. We're looking for honesty, psychological stability, the right role fit, and one thing above all else: someone who won't fake it. Finalists are contacted within 7 days.

Step Three

Finalist Profiles Go Public

Finalists for each seat are featured on this site — their application answers, their stated role, their reason for wanting in. Still anonymous. Still question marks. But the community can read who they are.

Step Four

Public Vote

The DFW community votes for their pick in each seat. One vote per person. Voting window: 7 days. The results are final. This is how the team gets built — by the same community we investigate for.

Step Five

The Reveal

The question marks come off. The faces are shown. The team is announced — here, on TikTok, and across social media. Then we go to work. First investigation: Estes Cemetery, Grand Prairie. First target: the child's handprint on the inside of the locked car window.
